Prosecution re-direct(by the judge) examination of victim A.S. – questions Judge Baca with follow-up cross by defense attorney, Sara Montoya.

Judge Baca: Re-direct?

Emilio Chavez: Nothing further your Honor.

Judge Baca: I do have some questions. How long were you together with Mr. Bent when this incident occurred? How long did that last from beginning to end?

A.S.: Half an hour.

Judge Baca: Why is it you went there?

A.S.: Because I felt that I needed to.

Judge Baca: Did anybody send you there or pressure you in any way to go there?

A.S.: No.

Judge Baca: Was this a decision you made on your own?

A.S.: Yes.

Judge Baca: When he kissed you on the lip, did you think that was of a sexual nature?

A.S.: Intimate?

Judge Baca: Did you take it as being like a man and a wife?

A.S.: Yes.

Judge Baca: And when this event occurred.. was it? Did you view it as between yourself a human being and another natural human or a spirit someone related to God?

A.S.: Repeat the question?

Judge Baca: When you went and had this, when the incident occurred between you and Mr. Bent was this something that occurred between you as a human being and him as a natural man or was it between you and someone who was a spirit of God or son of God or God himself?

A.S.: The spirit of God.

Judge Baca: Did you have any other names while you were on the compound?

A.S.: Yes I did.

Judge Baca: What was your name?

A.S.: Shakel.

Judge Baca: Say it again.

A.S.: Shakel.

Judge Baca: Ok, and the kiss that you had was it open mouth or closed mouth?

A.S.: Closed.

Judge Baca: Alright. Those are the questions that I had. Does the State have any further questions based on the questions I asked?

Emilio Chavez: No, your Honor.

Judge Baca: Alright. Does the Defense have questions based on the questions I asked?

Ms. Montoya: Yes, your Honor. Does Michael kiss everybody on the land, women, men, everybody?

A.S.: Yes.

Ms. Montoya: Thank you. Nothing further.

Judge Baca: Alright is there a need for this witness to be recalled?

Emilio Chavez: Not by the State, your Honor.

Judge Baca: Ok.

Ms. Montoya: She does appear on our witness lists but we do not anticipate recalling her.

Judge Baca: So she will be permanently excused.

Ms. Montoya: Yes sir.

Judge Baca: Alright you are permanently excused. You do not need to return. Thank you for your appearance here today.

A.S.: You’re welcome.

Judge Baca: Alright. It’s five minutes of twelve. We will break at this point in time for lunch. We will return and commence with evidence at one thirty. So that means that the jury is free to leave at this point in time. Please come back ready to start at one thirty. Please stand for the jurors.
